This 90-minute workshop is designed to take you through the basic fundamentals of strengthening your small spinal stabilizer muscles, as well as focusing on our diaphragmatic and breathing muscles. Using a combination of stretching and opening using a variety of apparatus (body weight, yoga tune-up balls, bands, and a Coregeous ball), together will improve your posture, decrease instability and heal poor joint mechanics. Bring your workout clothes because the doctors will be doing hands-on training with you to learn how to support your spine, balance out your rotator cuff/shoulder/neck region and open your hips and pelvis. Your feet and calves will also get a workout. You will leave this workshop with a specific understanding of how to support your spine and frame to reduce injury, improve balance and coordination and improve your posture. This is an amazing beginning workshop to take that will ultimately lay the foundation for how you will be able to move your body 20, 30, 40+ years from now.
This 90-minute hands-on workshop is geared towards the most common injuries of the lower body. Low back pain is one of the top prevalent injury we see in practice, and thus, we wanted to spend a little more focus on how to work with low back pain. This workshop is filled with corrective and preventative stretches and exercises that focus on our low back stabilizer muscles, core strength, and fundamental breathing techniques.
Other common lower body injuries that will be touched on during this workshop include: Hip Tightness, Knee Issues (Runner’s Knee, Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome, Meniscal Irritation, Ligamentous Sprain ACL/MCL, etc.), Shin Splints, Plantar Fasciitis, Ankle Sprains, Lower Cross Syndrome, and Sciatica or nerve pain into the leg(s). You will leave this workshop with a specific understanding of how to support your spine and frame to reduce injury, improve balance and coordination and improve mobility and flexibility in your lower back and hips.

This 90-minute workshop is designed to focus on the upper body musculature, joints, and spinal movement and laying down preventative measures for the most common injuries we deal with on a daily basis. Such injuries range from poor posture and sedentary lifestyle, to Rotator Cuff Injuries, Upper Cross Syndrome, Shoulder Pain, and Radiculopathy leading to nerve pain down either arm(s). We will be implementing mobility and strengthening exercises utilizing our body weight, yoga tune-up balls, bands, and the Coregeous ball. You will leave with a better understanding of how your own body is functioning, how to continue to support and strengthen your spine, acknowledge your own flexibility, and reduce your chance of injury. With the one-on-one direction from Dr. Ramsey, you will receive specific modifications and feedback on where your focus going forward needs to be. Bring your workout clothes and specific questions and we look forward to working with you.
