I was born and raised in Newmarket, Ontario. Growing up as a competitive dancer, I developed a deep appreciation for physical activity, which continues to this day with my commitment to gym workouts, yoga, and Pilates. I also enjoy long walks and hikes with my dog. I pursued my undergraduate education at the University of Western Ontario, graduating in just three years with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. I then attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where I completed my chiropractic education. Currently, I am in my first year of practice at Foster Family Chiropractic and Associates, having completed a one-year internship at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College clinic campus from 2023 to 2024 having various amazing clinicians and mentors guide me along the way.
In my practice, I commonly use Torque Release Technique and Diversified technique. My approach to chiropractic care is holistic and patient centered. I believe that health is not merely the absence of disease but a state of optimal well-being where the body functions harmoniously and efficiently. Chiropractic care is a vital component of a holistic approach to health and wellness, focusing on the intricate relationship between the spine and the nervous system.
Patient-centered care is a cornerstone of my practice. Every patient is unique, and I customize treatment plans to address individual needs and conditions, ensuring that each patient receives the most effective care tailored to their specific health goals. Looking to the future, I envision a world where chiropractic care is widely accepted and integrated into mainstream healthcare. My commitment to excellence drives me to continually improve my practice, ensuring that every patient receives the highest quality of care.
My motivation to become a chiropractor stem from my own personal journey. When I was in Grade 1, I was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Scoliosis and braced for eight years. The care I received from Dr. Laura Foster at Foster Family Chiropractic played a pivotal role in maintaining as well as supporting my body as a dancer my nervous system through times of growth and stress. Her guidance and healing hands were instrumental in my physical/mental well-being, and it is because of her that I developed a passion for this profession. I hope to make the same lasting impact on others around me.
